Motortech Company was founded at beginning of 1994 with main activity of servicing high speed diesel engines and sales of their spares.
From the 1st of January 1998 Motortech overtook entire ex Shipyard Uljanik's High Speed Diesel Engine Factory Dept. with all employees, all equipment and an engine test bench, with licensed authorization for SEMT Pielstick PA4 engines.
 
Today Motortech is a modern and highly skilled company equipped with sophisticated equipment and professional personnel with expertise in different types of engines and different engineering products.

Human resources Motortech from beginning has a policy of active education and specialization of all employees so we have five graduated engineers and 17 other high skilled service engineers. Most of employees fluently speak English and Italian language (German, Russian and Czech/Slovak language can be spoken as well).
Our engineers have passed additional specialist courses on MTU, CAT, Pielstick, Yanmar and Lombardini engines so we are ready to assist our customer not only in servicing of their engines but also offering assistance in projecting and consulting field. Main activities: Service, electronic diagnostics and testing of diesel engines as their installations on board
We have produced and delivered more then 100 Pielstick diesel engines till this moment. We have also delivered and installed many emergency and main generating sets for land and marine applications with different powers from 80 – 2600 kVA. We are specialized in maintenance, service and also co laudation of different type of engines and equipment. Service and testing/adjustment of high pressure fuel pumps and governors
We are equipped with two test benches for high pressure fuel pumps (BOSCH, LUCAS, MOTORPAL …) smaller for pumps up to 8 cylinders, and other for bigger/stronger pumps with up to 18 cylinders with power of prime mover electric motor of 32 kW.
We are also equipped and qualified for servicing and adjustment of different mechanical, mechanical-hydraulical and electronic governor types like Bosch, Woodward and Barber Colman. Service and overhauling of turbochargers
We are equipped and qualified for service, reparation and general overhauling of turbochargers ABB VTR (series 160; 200, 250), GARRETT (series T18A, TV91 and TV94), PBS, KKK and HOLSET.
We have also realized a reconstruction of several engines supercharging systems by replacing axial with radial turbochargers, which obtained very good results on railway and marine engines as well. Emergency generating sets production and installation and their implementation in power systems
In cooperation with european companies we produce deliver and install emergency generating sets with power form 20 up to 3000 kVA. In cooperation with other partners we have realized entire reconstruction of power systems and best reference are Zagrebacka Banka main information server center and Croatian Customs Server center. Mobile service support in Croatia and abroad
As a result of high skilled service engineers we are often asked for service support not only in Croatia but also abroad, and are ready for standard or urgent service intervention.
